Firebird Pendant is the first in a new series :) I wanted to realize polymer clay pendants, painted and decorated with Swarovski crystals, inspired by the mythical creatures from the world unveiled by Mercedes Lackey through her books.

Firebird is painted with acrylics and protected with a layer of resin.

Materials: polymer clay, acrylic, resin, crystal Swarovski

I read Valdemar series and is my favorite :) I finally decided I want "to be" a Tayledras healer :D

I should start with that one then! Hopefully I can find it at my library.

I always figured, if I were any character from my favorite books, I'd be none of the heroes, but the crazy witch doctor side character type. Routinely outcast and chased by townspeople with pitchforks but too useful to actually kill. hehe Like the ones you find in Terry Pratchett books, if you've read any of his.
