Goddess Bendis

Bendis was a Thracian goddess of the moon and the hunt[1] whom the Greeks identified with Artemis. She was a huntress, like Artemis, but was accompanied by dancing satyrs and maenads and she has a spear (on a fifth century red-figure stemless cup (at Verona)).

Geto-dacians worship Her as Goddess of the Moon, women, magick, animals...

Bendis ---Zeita din mitologia traca, adorata de geto-daci ca zeita a Lunii, a padurilor si a farmecelor. Herodot sustine ca era adorata de femeile trace ca era o zeita a dragostei, a maternitatii, a feminitatii în general.

Bendis este o zeita pe care grecii o identificau cu Artemis. Este o zeita care vineaza, ca si Artemis, dar acompaniata de satyre si menade dansind. Mai mult decit olimpiana Artemis, Bendis a ramas o zeitza a noptii ceea ce a legat-o de Hecate.
